Taking pharmacy automation a leap forward.

Based in Wake Forest, North Carolina, RxMedic^® Systems was launched in 2006 to provide leading-edge dispensing technology to pharmacies.  Its first product was the forerunner to the current RxMedic ADS robotic dispensing system.

In 2010, RxMedic was acquired by the J M Smith Corporation, a Spartanburg, SC-based corporation which also owns QS/1, Smith Drug Company, Norgenix Pharmaceuticals, Smith Premier Services and Integral Solutions Group, all of which serve the pharmacy industry.

With the acquisition, RxMedic added the ACS Automated Counting System and a nationwide network of offices to greatly enhance the company’s service and support to its quickly growing number of customers.
